Meet Jennifer Mercier
Thank you for your interest in my practice.
My dedication lies in aiding women facing fertility challenges, pelvic discomfort, overall well-being, holistic breast care, and newborn/infant craniosacral balancing.
During my undergraduate studies, as I prepared for medical school, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and subsequently pursued massage therapy training. In the early 90s, while working at the Center for Human Reproduction, I witnessed the challenges women face in fertility treatments. Witnessing the emotional and physical toll on couples, I sought ways to offer gentler, more effective solutions.
Opting out of medical school, I pursued Midwifery training, learning from professionals in various settings across different programs. Over 15 years, I cared for women and their babies with empathy and respect, cherishing the connections formed.
Additionally, I completed training as a Classical Naturopathic Physician in a program emphasizing traditional Naturopathic philosophy, supplementing it with further studies in Naturopathic Gynecology, Physical Manipulation, and Functional Endocrinology.
Furthering my expertise, I pursued a PhD program, delving into the effects of hormones, environmental toxins, and pharmaceuticals on the body.
My practice, deeply rooted in compassion and faith, operates on a fee-for-service basis, accommodating flex spending and health savings accounts. While I don't accept insurance, I provide referrals to local Physicians and Midwives for gynecological and obstetric needs.
