Shared Journey Fertility Program

Mercier Therapy, a profound pelvic organ visceral manipulation method, enhances mobility, optimizing function and promoting therapeutic blood flow, whether it's your shoulder joint or uterus.

Choosing the Shared Journey Fertility Program means receiving six hours of Mercier Therapy, divided into one-hour sessions per week over six weeks. For those traveling from out of state or country, we offer an intensive four-day weekend option, with comfortable accommodations nearby.

We collaborate closely with local fertility clinics for those requiring more extensive medical evaluation.

Our fertility program spans six weeks and can serve as a comprehensive regimen on its own or as preparation for medically assisted cycles like IUI or IVF. We strongly advise proper body preparation before embarking on any assisted fertility procedure to increase the chances of success. Our Shared Journey program can be completed in time for your stimulation start.

Opting for a stand-alone cycle aligns with your body's natural rhythms and instincts. Throughout the program, you'll learn to monitor your ovulatory cycle with our guidance for up to a year after completion.

Tailored to each woman's unique circumstances, the program details will be thoroughly discussed during a consultation. When scheduling your consult, allocate 60-90 minutes and bring along any relevant medical records for a comprehensive discussion of your history. During the consult, expect a thorough medical history review and a pelvic organ mobility assessment.

Our new documentary film will take you on a journey to learn more about a new option that is available without the use of medically assisted fertility cycles. Whether or not you use IVF or medication to become pregnant there needs to be preparation to help ensure a successful first cycle.

Overall, roughly 71% of medically assisted fertility cycles fail annually (CDC 2019). By age breakdown the failure rates increase dramatically as women age:
35 and younger – 60% failure rate
35-37 – 70% failure rate
38-40 – 80% failure rate (79 on CDC website)
41-42 – 90% failure rate (88 on CDC website)
43-44 – 95% and higher failure rate
44 and older – 99% failure rate

Success rates for IVF depend on a number of factors, including the reason for infertility, where you are having the procedure done, and your age. The CDC compiles national statistics for all assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures performed in the U.S., including IVF, GIFT, and ZIFT, although IVF is by far the most common; it accounts for 99% of the procedures.

The most recent report from 2019 found:

  • Pregnancy was achieved in an average of 29.4% of all cycles (higher or lower depending on the age of the woman).

  • The percentage of cycles that resulted in live births was 22.4% on average (higher or lower depending on the age of the woman).
